Subject	flywheel dowel pins too tight?

Message	I have a new max street clutch and segmented flywheel I got from Specialty Z. I have the flywheel installed and I'm trying to install the clutch, but where pressure plate meets up with the dowels pins on the flywheel, they won't fit. I tried hand-threading some bolts and slowly tightening them down to see if they will press in. They have moved in slightly but not much and I am hesitant to apply much torque. I did some searching around and couldn't find anything about this, but perhaps my search terms are bad. Is is normal for these dowels to be so snug?
